Washington State's Coastline is my Passion
I love the coast of Washington State. I inherited a love of the Sea and wanderlust from my paternal great-grandfather, an Irish sea captain.
In school I studied marine biology, geography, liked working with maps and charts, completed a university master's degree and flew jet aircraft for a time in the US Navy.
Although I have traveled to many countries, including a solo trip around the world, it is the North West USA where I feel most at home.
I like the variety of the Washington coast, from the smooth sandy beaches, the craggy cliffs, the quiet inlets and coves; to the variable weather... and frequently smaller numbers of tourists.
I hope that you enjoy what you find on my website and encourage you to begin exploring the Washington coast.
And if you're curious about how to begin building your own dream online, Solo Build It is worth checking out.
